Temazcal Ceremony
The Temazcal is a sacred purification ceremony that has been practiced by Indigenous cultures for generations. Often referred to as a “sweat lodge,” the Temazcal represents the womb of Mother Earth—a space where participants are invited to release what they no longer need and reconnect with their body, spirit, and the natural world.
Inside the warm, darkened lodge, heated stones are placed in the center and water infused with herbs is gently poured over them, creating steam that fills the space. Through prayer, song, and guided intention, the ceremony becomes a deeply grounding and cleansing experience for the body, mind, and heart.
Our Temazcal ceremonies are held by a Peruvian shaman who was born into a life of service to sacred medicine and who carries this work with deep devotion. With great respect for ancestral traditions, he holds the space with humility, care, and an open heart, guiding participants through the ceremony with presence and sincerity.
The Temazcal is not only a physical detox but also an emotional and spiritual cleansing. Within the warmth of the lodge, many people experience a sense of release, renewal, and reconnection—both with themselves and with the living spirit of nature.
Each ceremony is approached with reverence and intention, creating a safe and supportive environment where participants can let go, breathe deeply, and simply be present with their experience.
We feel grateful to share this sacred tradition and to hold a space where healing, reflection, and transformation can naturally unfold.
